Word on the street is that Biggie’s mother, Valetta Wallace, is horrified by the hotel footage involving Diddy and Cassie. This incident has made her question other things Diddy may have been involved in, including her son Biggie’s death. Christopher wasn’t just a musician and artist; he was also a son, grandson, nephew, and a good friend. People need to see the part of him that isn’t often recognized.
Moreover, the conversation isn’t just about Diddy’s potential involvement in Biggie’s death. His name has also come up again in connection with Tupac’s death. The FBI is deeply involved, and Diddy might be called in for questioning. Following the money trail, and considering the lawsuits against him, it seems Diddy has a habit of boasting about his alleged misdeeds. His own words might be his downfall. He once said, “I’m a businessman. I’m about making money, but something’s got to change. I don’t care if Pac’s gotta die, Biggie’s gotta die, or Suge Knight goes to jail.”
Biggie’s mom, Valetta Wallace, has made it clear she wasn’t happy with how Biggie was treated when he signed with Diddy’s label. She even wrote about it in her 2005 book, “Biggie: Valetta Wallace Remembers Her Son Christopher.” According to her, she never trusted Diddy to have Biggie’s best interests at heart. She wrote, “The truth is, Christopher fell for the illusion of a friend and mentor for about $225,000. That was a lot of money for him back then. At 19, he had never seen that much money at once. It was enough to make him believe that Puffy would do anything for him. It was enough to buy blind love and loyalty. Sadly, signing with Diddy is also what led to Biggie’s death.”
For decades, people have believed that Diddy was involved, and when I say people, I include Biggie’s family. Valetta has said before that she and the LAPD detectives who investigated the case know who is responsible for her son’s death, but a conspiracy is stopping the case from being solved. She said the LAPD found out what happened, but they just refused to move forward, and she doesn’t know why. To this day, no one has been arrested. Valetta believes it’s a huge conspiracy, with someone definitely being protected somewhere along the line.
It’s clear as day that Valetta’s words echo Diddy’s influence. When she spoke about joining the “City of Lies” project, shedding light on the corruption surrounding the investigation’s suppression, Valetta didn’t hold back. She expressed a steadfast commitment to seeking accountability, even if it takes decades to uncover the truth. Her words painted a picture of efforts to sweep the truth under the rug and shield corrupt officers, driven by self-preservation rather than a pursuit of justice.
Now, there’s talk that Biggie’s mother suspects Diddy’s involvement in her son’s death, citing financial motives. Remember when Diddy started returning publishing rights to his former artists, including Biggie? Rumors swirled that these rights were practically worthless, suggesting Diddy was merely trying to save face after exploiting his artists for profit. Despite raking in huge sums from Biggie’s work after his passing, returning seemingly insignificant rights didn’t erase suspicions, especially considering the longstanding allegations tying Diddy to Biggie’s tragic end. Recent revelations, like Cassie’s tape, have only fueled Valetta’s doubts about Diddy’s character and potential role in the events surrounding Biggie’s death.
There’s been a lot of talk about Diddy’s possible involvement in Biggie’s death. Remember Uncle Ron, his ex-bodyguard? He claimed Diddy offered him $30,000 to take out Biggie. Ron said it happened in March ’97, Diddy wanting control over Biggie’s music. Then there’s Gene Deal, who said Biggie was planning to leave Bad Boy for a $60 million deal elsewhere. Gene hinted it was an inside job, someone from their crew tipping off Biggie’s whereabouts.
Even celebs like Mase and 50 Cent have hinted at Diddy’s involvement. Mase’s “Oracle 2” talks about Diddy exploiting Biggie’s death and not treating his mom right. And 50 Cent’s “Hip Hop” suggests Diddy knows who’s behind Biggie’s murder but is afraid of retaliation from the West Side.
When it comes to Tupac, there’s been talk about Diddy possibly orchestrating a $1 million hit on both Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight amidst their heated rap feud involving himself and Biggie. The story goes that he hired Crips member Dwayne Keith Davis, also known as Keffe D, to do the job. But things didn’t go according to plan. Tupac was supposedly targeted by Crips gang member Orlando Anderson instead of Keffe D. It all took a strange turn when they ended up approaching Tupac’s car from the wrong side, leading Keffe D’s nephew to carry out the hit instead.
The unresolved part of the story revolves around Eric Von Zip, who was supposed to deliver the money to Keffe D but didn’t before he passed away. This lack of evidence makes it hard to directly link Diddy to Tupac’s death. But recent revelations from Gene Deal suggest that tracing the money trail could potentially implicate Diddy in Tupac’s murder. Tupac’s brother, Mopreme Shakur, believes that anyone mentioned by Keffe D should be held responsible for Tupac’s death. When asked about Diddy, Mopreme stressed the importance of law enforcement investigating these claims.
You know, it really feels like Pac is finally getting some vindication, you know what I mean? Back in the day, when all that drama was going down, everybody thought he was just off his rocker. But maybe he just couldn’t quite get his message across properly. Still, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t onto something, you feel me? So now, it’s like things are starting to make more sense. People were hesitant to go after Diddy before because of his massive influence. But now that his power’s fading, there’s more courage to speak up and suggest he might’ve had a hand in both Tupac and Biggie’s deaths. And you know what’s really something? Besides just wanting to see justice for Biggie, Valetta also wants those who covered up the truth to face consequences. She didn’t sign on for “City of Lies” just to celebrate Biggie’s music; it was for Russell Poole, who sadly passed away in the midst of the investigation. Talking about Russell, she said, “I hope the truth brings each and every one of them to light. Russell died trying to expose them. He was a man of his word. His wife said he died with a broken heart because he never got to see justice served. All he saw was deception. Lies everywhere. Everything was kept hidden.”
Valetta also shared with Entertainment Weekly in another interview, saying, “As long as there’s life, there’s hope. I’ll never give up, and I trust that when my time comes, my friends and family will continue the fight. Hope is always there.” If Diddy truly had a hand in the deaths of Tupac and Biggie, it’s unlikely anyone will protect him now. Perhaps this could bring closure to the families affected, especially considering the wealth of recorded evidence of Diddy’s actions and words. But do you think he’ll actually face consequences for his alleged involvement? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
