Mariah Carey Leave Her Sister Broke and Homeless? The Allison Blackmailing Scandal Unravels

Just in time for Christmas, the frost began to thaw, but it seemed Allison Carrie, Mariah’s sister, thawed along with it. “Hi, I’m Allison Carrie. Unfortunately, I’m living without teeth. I haven’t been able to afford replacements. I wish I could, but finances are tight. So, here I am. It’s nearly impossible to function properly without teeth. That’s the gist of it.”

For those familiar with Mariah’s journey over the years, her relationship with her sister has been anything but smooth. Indeed, Mariah’s interactions with both siblings have been complex. She often felt like they viewed her solely as a cash dispenser now that she’s achieved fame and success, believing they were entitled to her wealth simply because of their blood ties. Consequently, Mariah made the difficult decision to respectfully distance herself from them. “And I mean that sincerely.” However, it’s fair to say that her siblings, particularly Allison, took offense. “I would never let someone I once cared for end up on the streets, you know? I never even attempted to lend a hand.”

Over the years, Mariah expressed how both her sister and brother repeatedly betrayed her trust by peddling falsehoods to tabloids and dubious websites. She revealed enduring attacks from them, citing instances where her sister, Allison, subjected her to third-degree burns and attempted to involve her in unsavory activities like pimping. Additionally, Mariah disclosed that Allison once drugged her with Valium and offered her cocaine. Despite their shared familial ties, Mariah emphasized a lack of true connection, pointing out that their paths diverged long before she entered the world. She lamented, “We don’t even really know each other… they were on their journeys by the time I got into the world, you know? They had already been damaged.”

Let’s imagine that Allison didn’t take kindly to Mariah’s comments and decided to pursue legal action. In her lawsuit, Allison sought a minimum of $1.25 million for the significant emotional distress caused by Mariah’s callous public humiliation of her already vulnerable older sister. Allison alleged that Mariah not only dismissed her as an ex-sister but also chose to further embarrass and humiliate her through the publication of her memoir. The stories from the book gained widespread attention in newspapers, on TV, and online, with headlines echoing Mariah’s damaging claims, all without giving Allison a chance to defend herself.

In her lawsuit, Allison pointed out that Mariah had previously acknowledged her vulnerability, even stating that “Allison was damaged and very broken” in interviews leading up to the book’s release. However, despite this awareness, Mariah seemingly exploited her status as a public figure to attack her sister, capitalizing on sensational headlines to boost book sales. Allison claimed that the hurtful allegations had a devastating impact on her mental well-being, exacerbating existing trauma from her childhood and the abandonment by her own children. She stated that since the book’s publication, she had struggled immensely with depression and alcohol abuse.
So both Mariah and Allison concurred that their upbringing was deeply troubled. However, Allison disputed Mariah’s claims about her, asserting that Mariah knowingly fabricated stories despite being aware of the profound and enduring trauma Allison experienced. Allison recounted how, as a pre-teen, their mother compelled her to attend disturbing midnight satanic gatherings involving ritualistic sacrifices and other intimate ceremonies, which inflicted lasting emotional wounds. These rituals, Allison emphasized, were meticulously orchestrated, with participants clad in long robes and black hoods, proceeding in pairs to the designated location to commence chanting in an unfamiliar tongue. Additionally, Allison highlighted the physical toll of a 2015 home invasion, during which she endured severe injuries including spinal and digestive complications, traumatic brain injury, short-term memory loss, and vision impairments. Despite knowing the extent of Allison’s suffering, Mariah chose to include these falsehoods in her book. Allison vividly recalled the harrowing moment of the assault, describing how she was violently thrown down a flight of stairs, sustaining extensive injuries, including multiple fractures to her skull, followed by a brutal beating with a bat.

But, surprise! Allison wasn’t the sole one feeling the heat from the book; her brother, Morgan, also filed a lawsuit, disputing Mariah’s portrayal of their shared experiences as delusions. He threatened to expose what he deemed as the truth, armed with evidence that would potentially embarrass Mariah and her publishers. So, did Mariah fabricate parts of her book? Was she deliberately casting her siblings in a negative light by portraying them as terrible? Well, according to Mariah, it’s quite the opposite. She contends that it was her siblings who were being dishonest. Speaking to Vulture, she stated, “Here’s the thing. They have been ruthlessly, just heartless in terms of dealing with me as a human being for most of my life. I never would have spoken about my family at all had they not done it first.” When asked about the possibility of reconciliation, Mariah expressed forgiveness but maintained her distance, saying, “I have forgiveness in my heart, and so I forgive them. But I am not trying to invite anybody to come hang out over here. I think they’re very broken, and I feel sad for them. I know it’s a sad situation to be in.” Despite Allison’s attempts to mend fences, Mariah remains uninterested in reconnecting. Allison shared her desire to reconcile with Mariah and meet her children, expressing, “When she said, ‘I cannot put into words how moved I was to see pictures of my niece and nephew for the first time. I saw photographs of them on television just after they were born, and I saw more when they turned one recently.’ “

Allison expressed a heartfelt desire to reconnect with Mariah as her sister and become a proper auntie to her children. She disclosed reaching out to Mariah amidst a health scare when a doctor diagnosed her with liver cancer, giving her only four months to live. Allegedly, Mariah had expressed interest in reconciling and offering financial support for Allison’s treatment, as relayed by a relative. However, Allison never received any response from Mariah, and her illness turned out to be a gallstone, not cancer. While she hoped for Mariah’s support during this challenging time, she was disappointed by her absence.

Regarding a video where Allison discussed losing her teeth, it’s unclear if it was another attempt to connect with Mariah. Despite Allison’s continued efforts, sources suggest Mariah remains unyielding. The question arises: was Mariah justified in distancing herself from her sister, leaving her financially strained and homeless? Or is Allison attempting to leverage Mariah for financial gain, especially given Mariah’s impending financial success? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
