Hey, so there’s some talk going around that Kim Porter’s kids, Quincy and the twins, have been reading up on everything that’s been said about their mom. It’s clear they’ve seen it all. With bits and pieces from Kim’s supposed bookmaking making the rounds, word is that Quincy is really upset with Diddy and is pushing for a full investigation into what actually happened to his mother.
And of course, I had to celebrate with my amazing mom—the finale was just incredible. Thanks for having me! For those who don’t know, Quincy’s biological dad, Al B. Sure, has already said he’s working on a documentary that’s going to shake things up. It’s called “Al B. Sure of Life,” and trust me, you’ll want to hold on tight—it’s going to explain how he ended up in a coma. You’re really going to need to brace yourself for this one.
After Diddy’s homes were raided, Al B. posted a photo with Quincy, telling him to come back home, with the caption: “#1 son, come home. The door is wide open, you’re safe here, son. I love you, Pops, your biological.” At first, fans were a bit unsure about Al B. Sure’s motives, especially since Quincy had written an open letter before, calling out Al B. for not being there when he was growing up, and even questioning the importance of their biological relationship. Part of that letter said:
“When it comes to my biological father, all I really got from him is his looks. For most of my life, I’ve been curious about him—where he was, what he was up to, and, honestly, if he ever thought about me at all. His absence has actually helped me figure out the kind of man I want to be. I’m so thankful for my mom—for her love, her support, her guidance, and most of all, her strength.
So, with all these details coming out about what happened to Kim, it seems like Quincy is starting to see Diddy for who he really is. The excerpts from the book might have really opened his eyes. From what I’ve heard, Quincy might even be considering helping out with Al B.’s documentary.
About the book—Kim’s close friend, Ebony Electra, recently took to Instagram to set the record straight. She made it super clear that Kim had no intention of publishing any book before she passed in 2018. Ebony said, ‘I’m going to say this as loud as I can: Kim Porter never drafted, nor wrote, a book, memoir, or manuscript.’ Just a heads up, ‘allegedly’ is a word used when something is said to be true but hasn’t been proven. Ebony didn’t hold back, calling out the journalists, and saying, ‘Credible journalists use this word every day to maintain their integrity and value while reporting news. Unfortunately, some people will do anything for fame and attention, even if it hurts others.’ According to Ebony, all the talk about a book is just a bunch of lies, and she urged everyone not to fall for it when someone claims, ‘I have the manuscript.’ In her caption, she added, ‘There is no book, there never was. Some people keep talking about and spreading outright lies about this so-called manuscript like it’s real. It’s not. Kim would never do such a thing, and that’s the honest truth. God knows the truth, and so does she. As for me, I couldn’t stand another person calling or texting me about this without setting things straight. Any negative comments on this post will get just one response from me: “God bless you; the truth is the truth. Be blessed.”‘”
I’m not sure about this, Ebony—it seems like you’re the only one saying there’s no book, and to a lot of people, the fact that she’s supposedly Diddy’s cousin makes her less believable. People think Kim might have told someone everything about that book, and it just happened to go missing the day she died. Fans are speculating that, since Ebony is Diddy’s cousin, Kim knew better than to tell her anything about writing a book about him. Some folks are even saying Diddy probably paid her to deny the book’s existence, and since she was one of Kim’s closest friends, many people would believe her.
Well, I managed to get some excerpts from this so-called book, and let me tell you—it’s a mess. So messy, in fact, that some sources are saying Quincy is fuming at Diddy because of it.
In Chapter 1 of the alleged book, Kim talks about how Diddy’s jealousy and quick temper made her feel like she was always walking on eggshells. She describes one incident where he supposedly sent her to the hospital after she received some flowers. In the excerpt, she writes, “Shawn yelled, ‘No, so who the f* are they from?’ I was confused and honestly told him, ‘I don’t know, probably just a fan.'” He threw the attached card at me. I picked it up to read it. Shawn hit me so hard I groaned. Shawn yelled, ‘Who the f* were you with the other night?’ I looked down at the card lying next to me, and it read, ‘The other night was amazing, we must do it again.'”
According to the book, when Kim tried to explain who the flowers were from, Diddy threw them at her and said, “That’s not how this works. You have my child; you don’t touch anyone unless I allow it.” This really ties into what we’ve heard about how much control Diddy had over Kim, right? He always had access to her, whether they were together or not. He never really let go of Kim, and she never completely cut ties with him. In fact, she had an open-door policy for him at all times—even when he was with J.Lo.
Kim tried her best to calm Diddy down, telling him she had just had coffee with a producer to discuss a potential role in a new movie. But instead of soothing him, it only made him angrier. Before she knew it, a chair was flying across the room—classic Diddy. The memoir then describes what happened next: “I begged him, ‘Shawn, please!’ He yelled back, ‘What?!’ I did everything I could to calm him down, but he just got more intense. He shouted, ‘So you didn’t tell him?!’ Things escalated so fast, and suddenly, the chair was in the air… I don’t remember anything after that until I woke up in a hospital room. My arm was in a cast, hanging in a sling. My face was in agony—my eyebrow, my lip. When I finally came to, the first face I saw was the man who had put me there.”
Kim continued in her memoir, saying Diddy apologized, claiming he didn’t know what had come over him. But she was terrified, knowing they were in a private hospital room where no one would hear her scream if she needed help. As she lay there, Diddy allegedly said, “I was just so jealous. You know how I am. I’m sorry, baby. I swear I’ll never touch you like that again.” She also feared that Diddy would lie and say she had been in a car accident, and that people would believe him because of who he was. Kim wrote that Diddy spent the next six months helping her recover and slowly working his way back into her life and her child’s life. But things only got worse until she eventually died, with pneumonia officially listed as the cause.
I won’t even get into all the strange details surrounding her death—we’ve talked about that enough. The book also reportedly includes stories about how Cassie would flaunt herself in front of Kim and laugh while Diddy mistreated her in her own home. Remember when Kim’s friend, Kola Boof, spoke out about this and people dismissed it as nonsense? Kola tweeted, “This Diddy thing is no surprise, but it makes me think of the awful way he treated my friend Kim Porter and how I’ve always silently held him responsible for her. #RIPKim.” While Kola felt bad for how Cassie was treated, she also remembered how Cassie let herself be used against Kim as Diddy humiliated her for years.
So, here’s the tea: According to what Kola spilled, there was this time when Diddy allegedly asked Kim to do something pretty inappropriate. And if that wasn’t bad enough, she also shared a story about how, one night around 4 a.m., Diddy brought Cassie—who was practically still a teenager—into his bedroom where Kim was asleep. He woke Kim up and basically told her to get out of bed so Cassie could take her place. If that’s not weird enough, these strange encounters with Cassie are supposedly detailed in a book. But it doesn’t stop there—Kim allegedly went through some really awful stuff, like being forced to hook up with both men and women while Diddy watched, and all of this is said to be in the book. Now, Ebony might try to deny that this book even exists, but I’d love to hear what she really thinks about all this mistreatment that’s come to light. Can she honestly say Diddy never hurt Kim?
Honestly, I’m not sure what to make of this whole book situation, but one thing’s for sure—Kim went through some pretty nasty stuff while she was with Diddy. Whether she actually wrote about it in a book or not, I guess we’ll have to wait and see. What I do know is that Quincy has seen all the talk about his mom, and if he decides to turn on Diddy, that could really be the end for him. But what do you think? Did Kim actually write this book? Do these excerpts sound believable to you? Do you trust what Ebony’s saying? And the big question—do you think Quincy might be planning to turn on his dad? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
