Hey Wendy. Hi, how are you doing? You’re looking good. Thank you. Can I have your hand, please? Somebody’s hands, somebody’s coming here.
Is it time to really worry about Wendy Williams? Based on the videos we’ve seen over the last couple of months, she clearly isn’t in her best state. She can barely walk without help.
Hello, Wendy. Fans are hoping she gets better soon. However, it seems that’s not exactly what Kevin Hunter wants, and your guess is as good as mine as to why.
But first, what’s going on with Wendy? We all know she’s had a rough couple of years. Just when it seemed like things might improve for her, everything took another wild turn.
The Sun recently reported that Wendy was admitted to the hospital, released briefly, and then readmitted a day later. An insider told the publication that Wendy first went into the hospital about two weeks ago. She was released briefly last weekend but had to go back in. At one point, they didn’t think she was going to make it.
A second source mentioned that Wendy’s family knew she had been hospitalized but didn’t have many details. The source added, “All I know is she is in the hospital right now, and it’s not rehab. I don’t know which hospital.”
When Wendy was reportedly in the hospital, she also canceled her appearance at the Atlanta Women’s Expo, raising more concerns. On April 6, the Expo’s Instagram account announced Wendy’s May 20th appearance, saying, “She’s back,” and captioning it, “Wendy has a lot to say, and she’s saying it exclusively to us.” Free tickets were available to see her at the Cobb Galleria Center, where she was set to receive $25,000 for the two-day event.
However, just a few days later, Wendy was removed from the list of confirmed speakers. In a joint statement, Wendy’s rep and the Atlanta Women’s Expo confirmed the cancellation: “We regretfully have to inform you that Wendy Williams will not be appearing at the Ultimate Women’s Expo in Atlanta on May 20, 2023. After much consideration, we felt it was best for Wendy to join the Ultimate Women’s Expo at a later date.” They didn’t provide an update on Wendy’s health but mentioned an apology video from Wendy would be shown at the Expo.
After the cancellation, another source said Wendy’s team had been debating her health and if she could take the stage, noting, “There have been questions about if Wendy was well enough to do it, and some were pushing to get her to Atlanta and put her on that stage. Wendy’s ability to perform has been rocky at best. She can put together a sentence one day, but not the next. There have been serious questions recently about if she will ever get better.”
I have to say, I was really disappointed, just like many others, because I was looking forward to Wendy’s comeback. Even though fans were worried about reports of Wendy being hospitalized, her rep Sean Zanotti denied these claims, saying, “I can confirm that Wendy is not in the hospital as reported. I can also confirm she is not in New York as reported.”
You know who probably isn’t hoping for Wendy Williams’ health to improve? Kevin Hunter. It’s no secret that Wendy has been financially supporting Kevin through monthly alimony payments. These payments, which I also contribute to, make me think about the Me Too movement—if women want equality, it should be across the board.
And let’s talk about how Kevin spent Wendy’s fortune on his mistress, Sharina Hudson. Imagine Sharina stepping out of a car bought with my money. Kevin funded Sharina’s education to become a massage therapist using Wendy’s earnings. When that didn’t work out, he set her up with a mall kiosk in her hometown in North Carolina. He also helped her start a jewelry and clothing line called VISH. At one point, Sharina was even a realtor, listing her business at a house Kevin bought for her with Wendy’s money. When that venture failed, Kevin financed a vegan company for her, again using Wendy’s funds. It’s just outrageous.
The payments stopped when Wendy’s show ended, leading Kevin to drag her to court, demanding she resume the payments as agreed in their marital settlement. Kevin claimed he was entirely dependent on these payments, saying, “I have fallen behind on most of my bills. I live in a community that requires homeowners’ association payments, and I’m behind on that bill.” He added that his car insurance wasn’t paid, he was behind on credit card payments, and he lacked health insurance, which he needed for hip surgery. Without treatment, he was living in daily pain.
The nerve of this guy, right? The nerve.
Luckily, the judge ruled that Wendy doesn’t have to resume alimony payments to Kevin. The judge found Kevin’s request “not emergent” and dismissed his application without prejudice, also denying his request for Wendy to cover his attorney fees. Kevin was reportedly furious after this decision, which might explain why he isn’t wishing Wendy a speedy recovery.
Rumor has it things aren’t going well for Kevin either. A recent blind item suggested, “A talk show host is having a great laugh. Her serial cheating, serial stealing ex broke up with his mistress because she was spending too much of his ill-gotten gains.” Sounds like Kevin and Sharina, right? Multiple sources claim Sharina left with her baby and moved back in with her mother. It seems Kevin and Sharina are no longer together, likely because the money has run out.
No official statements from either party yet, but if true, it just proves Sharina was only in it for Wendy’s money. People are going to have a field day with this breakup.
Meanwhile, Wendy’s brother Tommy recently expressed concerns about Wendy’s well-being to the US Sun. He visited her in Florida in April while she was filming her upcoming documentary and didn’t like what he saw. He said, “This is not a woman in the right frame of mind to get a show going, and we are all going to bear witness to this.”
According to Tommy, Wendy’s manager, Will Selby, was pushing her too hard. He added, “This guy Will is dragging Wendy around, making her travel here and there. ‘Let’s go, let’s make this money.’ It doesn’t matter if it makes sense because everyone knows who you are. The show’s value lies in where she was and where she is now. Is that the show? Is that it?”
Tommy mentioned that the crew has plenty of footage for the reality series, but whatever they decide to do with it, it’s going to be sad. Despite his frustrations with the production, he isn’t upset with his sister. “I can’t blame Wendy for any of this. I still want her to get better. Lexi isn’t doing well, so I can’t be mad at her.”
He also shared concerns about how the production might affect Wendy in the future. “What if it comes out when Wendy is doing much better? Who wants to remember things this way? Why couldn’t she just fully recover first and then do something? People have been pushing her around, telling her she needs to do this and that. She could have been down here recovering.”
Honestly, I’m not sure what’s really going on, but it’s clear this is a big mess. I’d love to hear your thoughts. How do you think Wendy is really doing? And what are your thoughts on Kevin Hunter and Sharina allegedly breaking up? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
