Wendy Williams’ Son Exposed | A3 Took Advantage of His Mother for Money

My son—yeah, he crossed the line. As a man, you get it. He overstepped his boundaries. He was using my money behind my back, not telling me a damn thing. Like, was he stealing from me?

All I know is, this whole mess is still going on. And you know when it really hit me? When Wells Fargo froze my account. Thank God—no more money disappearing to my son or whoever else had their hands in it.

I didn’t expect the Wendy Williams situation to take this turn, but here we are. Turns out, her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., was a major reason behind her guardianship. Apparently, he was dipping into her bank account so much that Wells Fargo had to step in. The amount? Around $100,000.

To put that into perspective—his birthday party that year, which Wendy paid for, cost $120,000. His rent? $80,000. And let’s talk about Uber Eats. Reports say he blew over $100K just on food deliveries—with his mom’s money.

Have you ever taken money from your mom’s account without her knowing? Exactly.

$100K on Uber Eats? What was he even ordering?

People are also wondering if Kevin Jr. was secretly funneling money from Wendy to his dad and his dad’s mistress. Now, if that’s true, that would be straight-up evil.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s break down how Kevin Jr. ended up being the reason Wendy was placed under guardianship.

Remember back in late 2022 when he got kicked out of his $2 million luxury Miami apartment? Yeah, that happened. He got hit with a lawsuit for $70,000 in unpaid rent. The thing is, Wendy was the one paying for his place, but when her legal and medical troubles started, she couldn’t cover it anymore.

Kev even had to show up in court, where he explained that because of his mom’s health issues, she had stopped financially supporting him—including helping with his rent. He also mentioned that he had taken a year off from college to take care of Wendy.

Just weeks after Wendy Williams attended her son’s college graduation, Kevin Jr. reportedly got hit with a second eviction notice from his Miami apartment. The property management company claimed he owed a total of $431,16, giving him until January 7, 2025, to pay up or leave.

A lot of people felt bad for him, thinking he didn’t deserve to go through this. But here’s the twist—Wendy’s financial troubles may have started because of him.

In her documentary Saving Wendy with TMZ, she revealed that her conservatorship was triggered when Kevin Jr. started withdrawing large sums of money from her account without telling her. Wells Fargo flagged the transactions, which led to her accounts getting frozen and, eventually, the court stepping in to take control of her finances.

She specifically called him out for crossing the line with her money and suggested that he might have been influenced by other people. She even hinted that certain individuals had been staying in her Miami apartment, spending her money behind her back.

In Wendy’s own words:

“My son is a really good person. Look, my son is a good person, but at this point, he is a horrible person to me. The way he moves with other people and what’s going on with these other people in my apartment in Miami—what are you doing? Oh, you spent what on what? What is going on at Wells Fargo?”

One of the wildest incidents? Kevin Jr. planned to rent a boat for $1,500 for his birthday—but somehow ended up with a $133,000 bill. He blamed it on the bank, claiming they encouraged him to go for the pricier option… which, let’s be real, doesn’t make much sense.

Wendy strongly believes he wasn’t acting alone, saying others were taking advantage of him—and, in turn, taking advantage of her money.

But it gets worse. Wendy also claimed that a woman impersonated her to steal more of her money—and that Kevin Jr. was the one who introduced this woman to her.

She explained:

“It’s a woman approximately in my age group. This woman was on the phone pretending to be me. Red flag, Wells Fargo! Red flag, red flag! And so, red flag! Thank God they stopped all the money that had been stolen from me by these people. You know, they stopped it. Fortunately, I still have money left.”

It’s honestly insane.

Court documents from last September showed that, while Kevin Jr. apologized for his mistakes, the court still wasn’t convinced he could properly look out for Wendy—or keep her from getting financially exploited, whether on purpose or not.

That means even if Wendy gets out of her conservatorship, she cannot be placed under his care. Even some of her own family members agree that, as much as Wendy loves her son, he might not be the best person to handle her well-being.

A family member put it bluntly:

“My aunt loves her son very much, but I think that there are other options at this point in terms of who can care for her and make sure that his mother, at 60 years old, is taken care of properly.”

Who would have thought her own son would be caught up in all this? The whole situation feels eerily similar to how Kevin Hunter Sr., Wendy’s ex-husband, used to act.

To top it all off, Wendy’s brother, Tommy, has accused her of turning her back on the family. At one point, he even claimed Wendy was refusing to let Kevin Jr. into her penthouse.
Tommy claimed that Kevin Jr. flew all the way to New York to spend Wendy’s birthday with her, but when he got to her house, she wouldn’t even let him in.

“How is that fair to the one person who truly deserves fairness—her son?” Tommy questioned.

“My patience is running thin, and my eyes are opening. He went all that way to spend what could have been a really meaningful moment with his mom—if she even opened the door.”

At first, it didn’t make sense why Wendy would shut out her son. But now, with the revelation that he may have played a role in her conservatorship, it suddenly does.

Still, Wendy has made it clear she loves her son. During a phone interview on Two Angry Men, a podcast hosted by Harvey Levin and Mark Geragos, she was asked if seeing Kevin Jr. would be uncomfortable. She handled it gracefully, saying she was actually excited to reconnect with him.

She also mentioned that she was planning to head down to Miami to celebrate her father’s 94th birthday with family. And if Kevin Jr. happened to be there, she’d likely have a conversation with him.

But Wendy isn’t just talking about her son—she’s talking about everything. From how she believes she was wrongly diagnosed to her thoughts on her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, to her plans to put an end to the guardianship.

“Well, you see where I am, right?” she said. “I’m in this place where the people are older. I’m part of the memory unit. A memory unit? You mean like… someone who doesn’t remember anything? Are you serious?”

One of the biggest revelations from the documentary is that Wendy Williams is living in a memory care facility, surrounded by elderly residents struggling with severe cognitive decline. She says she’s only been allowed outside twice in the past month. She has no access to a personal phone or iPad. And even inside the facility, she can’t leave her room without someone escorting her.

“I’ve been asking the guardian for an iPad for years, it feels like. But seriously—an iPad? Can I at least get my phone back? Can I please just call my family? What’s the issue with me talking to my own friends?”

The documentary also reveals that Wendy’s belongings are locked away in a storage unit, while her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, has full legal control over her estate—meaning she can also profit from it. On top of that, a court order prevents anyone involved from speaking publicly about the case, making the whole situation even murkier.

But now, Wendy might finally be on her way to freedom. According to reports, she took a major step on February 12th by signing an affidavit asking a judge to end her conservatorship.

In the filing, Wendy states that she is fully capable of managing her own life and no longer needs a court-appointed guardian. She also flat-out denies that she has frontotemporal dementia—contradicting the claims made by doctors and her guardian.

TMZ’s documentary breaks down her alleged diagnosis, explaining that frontotemporal dementia is a degenerative disease, meaning it never gets better. But judging by Wendy’s recent interviews, where she’s been coherent and engaged, it’s hard to ignore the glaring contradictions.
As the #FreeWendy campaign gains traction, reports say Wendy Williams is in a much better mental state than she was two years ago. The next step? She’ll sign an affidavit to end her guardianship, then undergo a medical evaluation on February 18. The following day, her lawyer plans to file an emergency order to push the judge—the one who has the power to end this whole thing—to take action.

If the judge denies the request, Wendy isn’t backing down. She’ll demand a trial by jury.

It’s a huge step toward her regaining control, and people are relieved. But there’s one part of this whole situation that just isn’t sitting right with folks—her son. Wendy herself said he was the reason she ended up in this conservatorship, and the internet is running wild with that revelation.

People have been posting reactions like:

“Wait a damn minute… so Wendy Williams’ son, Kevin Jr., was the one taking out all that money? That’s what got Wells Fargo involved and led to this whole mess? Wow.”

Another person added:

“Damn, Wendy’s son misused her money and put her in this situation? All she ever did was love that boy with everything she had. He must’ve learned from his daddy.”

And someone else didn’t hold back either:

“Oh my God, y’all! So little Kevin was stealing from her? That’s what alerted Wells Fargo and caused all this? Like father, like son—a complete mess.”

Now, people are wondering if Wendy was covering for him before—maybe trying to protect him from public embarrassment, or even protecting herself from being seen as a “bad mom.” After all, if she had willingly given him that much money, there wouldn’t have been a problem. The fact that she didn’t, and yet the money was still disappearing? Yeah, that’s what has everyone side-eyeing.

And then there’s the bigger question: Was someone influencing Kevin Jr. to take the money? Could he have been funneling it to his dad, Kevin Hunter Sr., and his dad’s mistress?

What do you think? Was Kevin Jr. really the one behind Wendy’s financial downfall? Or was there someone else pulling the strings?
