Wow! Hold up, did I just hear that right? Tupac’s name just got thrown into the mix? Shots fired, folks! If there’s someone itching to see Diddy in cuffs, it’s 50 Cent. And he’s not mincing words. It all started when 50 took to Instagram on October 9th out of the blue, accusing Puff of being involved in Pac’s demise. He even went a step further, suggesting Diddy should lawyer up pronto. His exact words were, “Whoa! So Pac was set up by Brother Love lol. Better get legal backup, things could get messy.” His post featured a snapshot of Tupac and Suge Knight chilling in the black BMW on the fateful night of the drive-by. But wait, there’s more! Mid-performance, 50 dropped the bomb, hinting that maybe his constant jabs at Diddy stem from believing he orchestrated Pac’s hit. “I hate being left alone with a mic ’cause I always slip up. Remember last time? I said something about Puffy, you caught that? Yeah, I gotta cut that out. Been seeing a therapist to rein in my mouth.” This isn’t the first time 50’s taken aim at Diddy. He’s sworn off Puff’s bashes, convinced there’s something fishy going on. “Hey, if that’s your thing, do you. No judgment here. But it’s just not my scene. I prefer my vibe less…awkward. I reckon I fit better in the ladies’ lounge.” These accusations aren’t new; 50’s been calling out Diddy’s alleged covert lifestyle for years.
As previously stated, there have been claims suggesting that Diddy was behind the attack on Tupac. In 2016, 50 Cent shared a screenshot of reports alleging that Diddy paid Kefi D $1 million to eliminate Tupac. Later, 50 Cent posted a video of himself implying Diddy’s involvement in Tupac’s demise. This sparked a flurry of comments, with many agreeing with 50 Cent’s stance and suggesting Diddy should seek legal counsel.
However, there are those who argue that 50 Cent’s fixation on Diddy might stem from their complex relationship, which includes Diddy passing on signing 50 Cent in the past. Despite these allegations, some wonder if 50 Cent is merely spreading rumors or if there’s substantial evidence against Diddy. The weight of these accusations increased when details emerged from a 2008 police confession by Keffe D, implicated in Tupac’s murder. Keffe revealed discussions about a $1 million deal involving both Tupac and Suge Knight, who were at odds with Diddy’s Bad Boy Records at the time. This evidence places Diddy under scrutiny, yet he refrains from taking legal action against 50 Cent, possibly due to fear of the incriminating evidence he possesses.
In his confession to the police, he openly acknowledged that his nephew and fellow gang member, Orlando Anderson, allegedly responsible for stealing the chain of a Death Row affiliate months prior, was the shooter. He admitted to passing the gun to his nephew, describing the event: “So Orlando shot across Dre, he leaned over on the window. We rolled down the window. Pac, who was they would drove on my side, I would have popped him, you know what I’m saying, but they was on the other side, right?”
Keffe D has consistently provided incriminating statements in various interviews regarding Tupac’s murder. He once casually remarked, “Which of those four is it when you talk to him about murdering Tupac, I will whip quick, you know, it’s nothing. We want a million.” Remarkably, he also suggested that Faith Evans was aware of Diddy’s alleged scheme to eliminate Tupac, claiming to have informed both Diddy and Faith about their involvement. Furthermore, prior to his arrest, Keffe explicitly stated that his association with Diddy had entangled him in the Tupac affair: “If I wouldn’t have never met him, I would have never been involved in this, you know what I’m saying? I would have never met the brother. I wouldn’t have never been involved in this.”
These revelations lend credence to the possibility that 50 Cent’s accusations against Diddy may not be unfounded. And intriguingly, 50 Cent is not the sole voice implicating Diddy. Former Bad Boy artist Mase hinted at Diddy’s involvement in Tupac’s demise during a discussion on his sports talk show, coyly remarking, “It is what it is.” While conversing with his co-host Cameron and comedian Bubba Dub about Keffe’s arrest, Mase feigned ignorance, sarcastically asking, “Wait, wait, wait, wait. Where do I know that name from? You know, that name sounds familiar.”
It’s quite surprising that Keffe is among the select few with firsthand knowledge of what happened to Pac. Despite this, his incessant chatter is simply baffling. Mase later shifted his stance, expressing hopes for Tupac’s justice. Although Diddy wasn’t directly named, subtle hints and reactions in the conversation strongly alluded to him. Retired LAPD detective Greg Kading, who extensively investigated the case, recently addressed the speculation, suggesting slim chances of Diddy facing charges. He emphasized the need for credible witnesses with direct involvement. Notably, celebrities like Eminem have previously hinted at Diddy’s involvement in Pac’s demise. Perhaps, like 50 Cent, they possess undisclosed information. Regardless, figures like 50 Cent are adamant about seeing Diddy face legal consequences. Mopreme, Tupac’s brother, shares this sentiment, believing Diddy should already be incarcerated. He has reiterated this stance recently, underscoring the role of law enforcement in pursuing justice without external influence.
Do you think they’ll go through with it? It’s starting to feel like Pac’s being proven right, you know? Back then, everyone thought he was off his rocker. Maybe he didn’t articulate it well, but that doesn’t mean he was off base, you know what I’m saying? Yeah. So let’s wait and see. It’s a shame that the others involved in the incident, aside from Keffe D, are already gone. His nephew and Zip, who supposedly got the money, are both deceased. Remember, Keffe claimed he never received the alleged payment from Puff because he split the reward with Zip, who never handed over the cash to the rightful recipient. But who knows, just like 50 said, even though it’s a long shot, there’s a chance Diddy might also face charges. Especially considering he was talking about wanting Po’s head in front of a room full of people, not just Keffe D, his nephew, and Zip. It was Harell, Puffy, Zip, and a bunch of Southsiders. And that whole “announcement” Puff made? Yeah, that was foolish. Did you catch what he actually said, if you can recall? He offered anything for those guys’ heads. Yeah, he said it in front of everyone. It’s plausible. Who knows? Maybe the prosecution is already building a case against Diddy as we speak. There’s also talk on the streets that Diddy set up Keffe to take the fall alone. If that’s true, I can see a scenario where Keffe D implicates Diddy as well. But while we wait for this to unfold in court, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on 50 Cent’s accusations against Diddy. Do you think 50 is just fixated on Diddy in a dangerous way, or do you think he has a valid point urging Diddy to get legal counsel? Let me know in the comments below.
