TMZ disclosed that Blueface purportedly targeted an individual at a nightclub following a misinterpreted joke. Allegedly, during an evening at the Euphoric Gentleman’s Club in Vegas on October 8, the individual made a jest about the rapper conversing with women in a modest vehicle, triggering Blueface’s entourage. Subsequently, the individual was reportedly struck by members of Blueface’s group. When the individual attempted to depart in his truck, he informed authorities that Blueface’s entourage may have mistaken his actions as reaching for a weapon. Consequently, Blueface allegedly fired shots at the departing truck. The root of the incident is believed to be tied to his ego, a characteristic known to be considerable in Blueface. Fortunately, the individual escaped with minor injuries, although the truck sustained multiple bullet marks, and the individual appeared to have suffered a grazing wound from a bullet on his left hand.
Following his arrest, TMZ disclosed that his charges encompassed felony attempted murder involving a lethal firearm or tear gas, alongside an additional count for firing a weapon into a domicile, edifice, vehicle, or vessel. Granted bail at $50,000, he regained freedom on the same day. Fast forward to October 2023, the case proceeded to court. It’s telling of public sentiment toward Blueface when fans were actively hoping for his incarceration, so worn out were they by his antics. However, the judge didn’t opt for immediate imprisonment. Instead, a suspended sentence of 2 to 5 years was handed down. For clarity, a suspended sentence entails a legal agreement where a guilty party isn’t incarcerated right away but will face the sentence if they commit another offense within a specified period or defy the judge’s directives. Essentially, Blueface could evade prison so long as he stayed out of trouble. Realistically, though, it seemed improbable for him to toe the line for that duration. I won’t delve into the messy details about his conflicts with CA, or how he irresponsibly shared private medical information about his child on social media, or the concerning incident of taking the baby out in the cold at 4:00 a.m. without proper clothing. There’s just too much to unpack there. But there are other serious infractions, such as when he forcefully pushed a fan off stage during his concert and instructed his team to intervene. This led to Blueface voluntarily surrendering himself to jail, clearly indicating a violation of his parole. The specifics of his transgressions only came to light when his mother, Carissa, aired her grievances on Instagram, accusing Jaden and Cron of being responsible for his incarceration. She claimed, “Jaden got him one charge, Rock got him the one that violated the other. That’s why it’s so quiet. Praying everyone now understands why I didn’t want them together. Because parents want the best for their children. I love them all but not together. Praying for everyone to listen to their parents.” Carissa further lamented, “My baby is in jail and my heart is broken again because they didn’t listen. If I’m lying, tell them to tell why he in there.
